Most stores carry one or the other. We have 12 models on display — eight NordicTrack and four FreeMotion — so you can compare a home treadmill against a commercial one on the same afternoon and decide what your training actually needs.

All eight NordicTrack models below are on our showroom floor: the Commercial LE, 1250, 1750 and 2450, the T Series 16, the X16 and X24 incline treadmills and the Ultra 3. Compare decks, consoles and footprints in person, then pick the one that fits your space and how you train.
FreeMotion Treadmills & Incline Trainers
FreeMotion builds commercial cardio for gyms, schools and facilities — and for home gyms that want commercial equipment. Four FreeMotion models are on our showroom floor: the T8 and T24 treadmills and two incline trainers, including the i8. Compare them against NordicTrack on the same visit.
How to Test a Treadmill Before You Buy
A few minutes on a deck tells you more than any spec sheet. Here's what to check when you visit:
Stride room
Walk and jog at your normal pace and notice where your feet land on the belt. Taller runners and anyone running fast need more room than walkers do.
Cushioning
Walk, then run. Some decks feel firm like the road, others softer. Try both brands back to back and you will feel the difference.
Incline & speed changes
Raise the incline and bring it back down. Notice how quickly it responds and how steady the deck feels.
Fit for your space
Measure your room and ceiling height before you visit, and check each model's footprint on its product page.
